Eni S.p.A. is the largest Italian oil and gas company with headquarters in Rome. The company is also a joint holder of the Greenstream gas pipeline, which supplies Libyan natural gas to Europe (mainly to Italy) and the Blue Stream, which provides a supply of Russian gas to the Turkish market. The market share of liquefied gas in Italy is 17.5%, Ecuador - 38%. The market share of greasing substances in Italy is 21%, worldwide - 0,6%. The main assets of the company are Extraction and production (oil and natural gas production as well as gas liquefaction); Gas and power sector - transportation and sales of natural gas (a liquefied gas including) and electrical energy; Processing and sales - transportation, processing and marketing of oil and petroleum material. As of 2017 Company's income increased by 20% (against 2016) and hit € 66.921 billion. Eni's net profit as of 2017 was € 3.427 billion against dead loss a year earlier.
